Welcome to Riverview Inn
Riverview Inn, situated on North Cleveland Avenue in North Fort Myers, Florida, offers travelers an affordable and straightforward lodging option near the scenic Caloosahatchee River. This modestly rated 3.8-star motel blends an older architectural charm with recent remodeling efforts, presenting guests with simple, smoke-free, and pet-free accommodations. Though the property lacks a restaurant, fitness center, and airport shuttle, its free Wi-Fi, complimentary parking, and air-conditioned rooms provide essential comforts for visitors focused on local sightseeing and outdoor recreation.
The inn’s location is a notable advantage. With its proximity to the river, guests can enjoy quiet views—particularly from second-floor rooms—though some natural landscaping might benefit from thinning to enhance the panorama. The safe, well-lit premises and ample parking add layers of convenience and peace of mind, particularly for those traveling by car. Golf enthusiasts find nearby courses easily accessible, complementing Riverview Inn’s suitability for leisure travelers.
However, cleanly maintained spaces are a mixed experience here. Though some guests appreciated the fresh scent and neutral décor of their rooms, others have pointed out areas where housekeeping attention falls short, such as stained walls and dusty baseboards. The toll of past storms may explain some maintenance challenges, including stubborn doors and dated fixtures. Customer service impressions also vary, with reports highlighting both polite interactions and less accommodating episodes, underscoring room for improvement in staff communication and responsiveness.
In essence, Riverview Inn serves well those who prioritize location and basic amenities over luxury. It is a practical choice for travelers seeking quiet, budget-friendly lodging while exploring the natural beauty and local attractions of North Fort Myers. Despite some service and upkeep concerns, the inn’s core strengths lie in its accessible environment and potential for a restful stay amid Florida’s riverside charm.

My husband was here & we noticed they had him under the wrong name well when I asked the lady about it after leaving my husband room MY HUSBAND btw she refused to talk to me told me he could call her but she would not longer talk with me and gave me a terrible attitude(barley spoke a word or English) She then proceeded to go ahead and LIE and tell my husband she had to call the cops on me because I was going crazy trying to get to my husbands room knocking on doors? What the hell is wrong with this lady? I’ll be back in to speak to a manager TODAY. Not ONCE DID I EVER DO THAT AND TO SAY THAT IS WILD WHEN WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A LEGAL BATTLE SO NOW THIS LADY WILL BE IN VOLVED LEGALLY !!!!!!!!!
This is a nicely remodeled older 2 story motel. All rooms are no smoking, no pets. My room was single bed per my request, basic, very clean, smelled fresh, nice neutral colors. 2nd floor backside has view of Caloosahatchee River, but trees need to be thinned out. No in-room coffee service, but Dunkin is just a few blocks away. Safe, good lighting, quiet, lots of parking. No pool.
The room was nice a first glance, but once in and looking around you could tell attention to detail of cleaning was not a priority, walls had splatted stains all over, baseboard not wiped or dusted in very long time. I do believe it may have been hit by either hurricane Ian or Milton, we were on ground floor, the entrance door was so hard to open, we had to slam into it to open, the bathroom door was so warped it completely curved in about 30° at the bottom into the bathroom. And floor board areas looked like needed repair/ replacement but just painted over. I do understand the damage Ian and Milton did as I do live here in Cape Coral. And I know these things take time. Hopefully the second floor was nicer. The lady that checked us in was not pleasant in any way or very welcoming. It was okay for a one night stay after getting back from a cruise, before my friend had to drive back to Jacksonville.
